Master Graphixs provides Consulting and Training for many of the Market Segments in the Printing Industry coast to coast. Offset, Flexo, Digital, Wide Format, Mailing just to name a few. From multi-site large production facilities to Mom & Pop operations, we focus on "best practices" to remove touch points and automate processes.
History
Master Graphixs was founded by Mark Hermesdorf with a focus to the ever-changing production methods of the printing industries. With over 45 years of experience, the start was at a young age of 10 with a Ryobi 2800 duplicator in the garage of his parents' house...that started the fascination with ink on paper. That was the early 80's and my how things have changed.
Today, the digital revolution of printing assisted with AI, has reduced touch points and created efficiency. However, this has not replaced the need for highly skilled craftsmen in the various trades of the many market segments for Printing. With a well-rounded knowledge of most printing processes, we can provide valuable insight as a third point of view and a non-partial evaluation to assist in many ways. Offset Printing
Experienced with Multi-Color Offset presses such as Heidelberg, Komori, Man Roland, Miehle & Ryobi. Wet or Dry trapping, Ink density and sequence, Gray balance working with prepress on press curves, routine maintenance practices, etc. Supporting pressrooms in many capacities
FlexoPrinting
The Tag & Label segment has always remained a cornerstone in the flexo market As end users look for consistent runs this will be long lived however the generations of craftsman operators are fading. This art is still needed and we support operations in training with areas of prepress, plate making, and pressroom.
Digital Printing
Since the late 90's Digital Printing has evolved to rival traditional offset presses. Quality, cost, and efficiency have met the demands for shorter runs, faster turnarounds and cost savings. From office to high volume production units, we can provide consultation and training for your existing and growing needs. Versed with Konica Minolta series printers and finishing units online and offline for booklet making and perfect binding as well as Ricoh and Canon front-end and hardware training.
Wide Format
HP, Roland, Mimaki, Mutoh, Canon roll or flatbed units. Training, best practices, calibration support, workflow & load balancing. Need a new or existing ink or substrate profiled? We can assist in establishing a baseline along with consistent calibration practices. Looking to getting into DTG and DTF? This has quickly become an area that shops are bringing inhouse to further service customers' needs. We can assist in equipment assessments', installation and training.
